Body By Danny





 Danny Sanchez has been my trainer for several months and I feel as if he has helped me to increase my strength drastically. Danny is very good at motivating me and paying attention to my personal advancement towards my goals. I have made good progress while working out with Danny and feel that he would be an asset to anyone who needs a personal trainer. I would recommend Danny to anyone without reservation.

 When I first joined Bally’s, I did not intend to have a trainer. In fact, I pretty much decided That I would not need a trainer because I have been working out almost everyday for the past fifteen years of my life. However, I have always done cardio.

When Danny approached me about my free training session, I was very apprehensive because I did not feel that training was something I needed or wanted or could afford. Prior to my first training session, I thought a lot about it, and I decided that since I really wanted to work on toning my arms and stomach that maybe training would not be such a bad idea.

After several sessions, and now after almost a year of training, I have found it very beneficial. I feel in better shape, and I feel more confident. The thought of me lifting weights or doing any weight training was something that I would not have thought of doing on my own. Or perhaps, I had thought about it, but I did not do it independently.

Danny has been an awesome trainer. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable on the topic of fitness. I have never felt bored or wanted to give up. I always look forward to going to train because Danny continues to keep my training challenging, not stagnated.

Danny is personable and easy to talk to. Although, I know it is not typical to talk to the trainer when working out, for me, it makes working out/training much more enjoyable and fulfilling.

Recently, I signed up my fiancée to train because I feel that it will contribute to building his fitness level as well as his self-esteem. So far, it has been challenging for him, but he has decided to stick with it. I would highly recommend Danny as a trainer to anyone looking for someone that is dedicated to what they are doing and someone that will work with you no matter what your fitness goals are.

 My name is Laura, and I’m a 21 year old student at Trinity University. This summer I had the opportunity to work with Danny as my trainer, for 17 sessions. I decided to get a trainer because I knew I was getting out of shape because of my busy schedule during the academic year, and I needed the extra motivation and guidance. My personal goals were to improve my overall fitness, increase strength, and improve my stamina.

My routine for the summer was to participate in the spinning class on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and get trained by Danny on Tuesday afternoons (upper body) and Thursday afternoons (lower body). Before each session with Danny I did my own cardio routine, running at least 1 mile and usually more each time. I also tried to go for a jog on my other off days. In the meantime, I worked as a waitress and interned at a non-profit.

Danny showed me how to work machines that I never would have tried if no one told me to, and he varied the routine every time I came in, to keep it interesting and challenging. We also worked on abs and core strength at every session.

Now that summer is over, I’ve gained a lot of muscle and increased my strength, I’ve increased my stamina, I feel awesome, plus I lost 8 pounds. Fitness has always been important to me, and now I feel like I know more about what I should be doing to reach my goals, and I can spend my time at the gym more efficiently.

A year and a half ago I decided to find a trainer to help me lose weight. I had never worked with a personal trainer before so when I walked into Danny’s gym I had no idea what to expect. All I knew was that I needed to lose a lot of weight and I had tried it on my own and failed so many times before. I had no idea how much my life was about to change. Not only have I lost 100 pounds and gone from size 28 to size 10 but I am a completely different person. Before I met Danny I had no confidence in my physical abilities. I have never been athletic and I thought I was destined to be overweight for the rest of my life. Through Danny’s encouragement and guidance I am learning how to push myself during our sessions as well as when I am working out on my own. For the first time in my life I feel like I can really reach my goals and more. Danny always seems to know when I need to be encouraged and when I need to be pushed. Danny is such a caring person and he never makes you feel like you are just another client. He is always focused on you and what you are doing during your sessions. Anytime I don’t understand why we are doing something he takes the time to explain how it will help me achieve my goals. As I move closer to the maintenance phase of this process I no longer fear gaining the weight back like I have so many times before. He has taught me a new way of thinking that has changed my life. Becoming part of the Body Performance family was the best decision I could have made and I look forward to continuing the journey
